Turns out Mary was a daughter of a back up dancer for Dominique but died and so Dominique took Mary in to do housework. Then she is rudely awakened from her daydream by Dominique Blatt a used to be pop star shooting a commercial for back acne cream. The movie starts with Mary dancing and singing in her own music video.The synopsis below may give away important plot points.
